    The windsurfer uses the minimum amount of equipment and apparatus to harness the wind and have fun whizzing about on waves. Basically just a surfboard with a sail attached, this watercraft is very portable, giving quick and easy access to the water.

    Similar to windsurfing but instead of a sail this exciting branch of sailing uses a high-tech kite and a small surf board to propel the sailor in powerful surges, sometimes going airborne, across the waves.

    Mainly used to provide support for sailing events and competitions the skipper of  one of the wide-range of small powerboats available has to be able to drive the boat under control at all speeds in all but the most extreme of water conditions.
